Job purpose:

GDS Assurance operates in accordance with International Standard on Quality Control (ISQC) 1- Quality Control for Firms that Perform Audits and Reviews of Financial Statements, Other Assurance and Related Services Engagements and EY Global Assurance policies. The individual is required to support planning, implementation, monitoring, compliance and reporting of Q&RM policies & initiatives and regular communication with the Assurance team.

Key responsibilities:

  • Liaise with and guide Assurance team regarding the various Q&RM policies and procedures.
  • Track compliances relating to Independence, Confidentiality, Learnings, , Clean Desk, Lost Laptop and such other activities, as necessary.
  • Liaise with other teams within GDS i.e. reporting, experience management, talent , Risk management team etc.
  • Work in co-ordination with Q&RM Team leads and AMs across locations in meeting the deadlines on various Q&RM activities
  • Monitor the Q&RM shared folder and ensure all current files/information are updated on the folder for management review and analysis.
  • Coordinate on Assurance Quality Review (AQR) and peer reviews including self-assessment activities.
  • Prepare status update reports/decks of various Q&RM activities for leadership reference

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • years of work experience in Process review, Quality monitoring/initiatives, Internal Audit, Risk management, Self-assessment or other review procedures
  • Strong interpersonal and good written & oral communication skills.
  • Robust logical and reasoning skills
  • Team player, with the ability to multi-task, flexible and can work under pressure.
  • Attention to detail and result-oriented
