You will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining directory and identity management solutions within the enterprise. Your expertise will span Tier-0 infrastructure, including Microsoft AD, EntraID, LDAP, Storage and Compute platforms. You will be an L4-SysAdmin, ensuring smooth operations and troubleshooting complex issues. This individual will integrate with new and existing initiatives, requirements and policies from design through implementation.
Responsibilities include
- SysAdmin:
- Guard and Delegate DA/GA/SUDO credentials.
- Support large-scale Directory and Identity Management projects.
- Identify technical and operational challenges and propose solutions for execution.
- Perform capacity planning and security analysis as needed.
- Directory Design and Administration:
- Work in concert with Network, Certificate, Storage, and Hosting teams.
- Manage and optimize up-time across multiple AD forests, LDAP domains and other services.
- Familiarity with technical triage of services and applications integrated with Active Directory, LDAP, EntraID and others.
- Working knowledge of GPOs, AD Sites, Replication Topology, and troubleshooting tools such as NSLookup, TraceRt, Telnet, NetCat, TCP Dump, Wireshark, Nmap, NetUtils, IP Scanning.
- L4-Operations Management:
- Dispatch ticketed inquiries / actions from Application and Business teams
- Act as an escalation point for complex support issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve critical incidents.
- Ensure high availability and reliability of directory services.
- Utilize PowerShell, Python, Perl for automation and analysis
- Qualifications:
- Experience: 5-10 years managing IT systems spanning network, directory, storage, hosting.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related fields.
- Certifications: MCSE, ITIL, CISSP (as applicable).
