Your key responsibilities

• Data Handling : Work with SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
• ETL Workflows : Develop and maintain ETL workflows using PySpark or equivalent technologies.
• Data Pipeline Development : Assist in developing and maintaining data pipelines for structured and unstructured datasets.
• Platform Implementation : Work on data solutions using Databricks or Snowflake
• Collaboration : Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality data products.
• Data Quality and Compliance : Ensure data quality, reliability, and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Domain-Specific Solutions : Contribute to domain-specific solutions for AML, fraud detection, and risk analytics.

Required Skills:

• SQL and ETL : Hands-on experience in SQL queries, data handling, and basic ETL development.
• PySpark Exposure: Practical knowledge of PySpark for data processing.
• Data Platforms: Exposure to Databricks or Snowflake environments.
• Data Warehousing : Understanding of fundamental data warehousing concepts (schemas, joins, basic modeling).
• Domain Awareness : Interest in or exposure to Financial Crime, AML, or Fraud detection domains.
• Collaboration : Ability to work effectively in teams with strong communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Cloud Platforms : Familiarity with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• CI/CD Practices: Exposure to CI/CD practices for data engineering.
• Agile Methodologies : Familiarity with Agile development practices and methodologies.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.

Education:

: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
