This role for a Patient Care Solutions (PCS), Product Sales Specialist (PSS) is provincial in scope and includes responsibility for both new Order and Revenue generation. Coverage includes both the Hospital and Private Market.Example solutions include but are not limited to:• Patient Monitoring
• Anesthesia and Respiratory Care
• Diagnostic Cardiology
• PCS Digital Solutions


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Deliver Quarterly and Annual financial targets through utilization of focused Territory Planning, Strategy Development, Collaboration with the GEHC Account Community, new business development and Commercial support tools such as Salesforce.com
  • Drive net new business as well as expansion with existing install base
  • Develop deep domain expertise of our PCS portfolio. Be able to clearly articulate our value proposition
  • Leverage/develop strong relationships in the hospital and private market to understand our customer needs and develop solutions to meet them
  • Grow the visibility and funnel volume of opportunities across the portfolio, as well as geographically across BC
  • Manage funnel effectively in Salesforce, providing visibility to the business for future investment and planning
  • Lead/Support Commercial processes such as RFP’s and RFI’s

Required Qualifications

  • Languages
    • English
  • Education
    • Bachelors or Masters Degree in related field or equivalent experience in related Product Sales
  • At least one of the following core experiences inHealthcare industry
    • 3+ years of consultative sales experience including strategic selling & negotiation at all levels within an organization; or
    • Relevant Clinical Experience
    • Graduate of a GE Commercial Leadership Program; or
    • 5+ years GEHC experience in customer facing role(s)
  • Market Knowledge
    • Understands industry trends and their impact on customers, be able to articulate industry issues and help customers address any concerns/issues.
  • Business Acumen & Selling Skills
    • Demonstrated selling skills including solution selling, customer presentations, closing and growing Orders/Sales;
    • Ability to successfully build rapport, credibility and confidence, being a trusted advisor & adding value;
    • Demonstrated ability to analyze customer needs and develop sound customer solutions;
    • Driven & takes initiative / Demonstrated ability to work independently;
    • Comfortable utilizing Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools such as Salesforce.com
  • Dealing with Ambiguity
    • Ability to develop and execute multiple priorities to meet business goals;
    • Ability to clearly define and resolve complex issues within the area or responsibility
  • Collaboration & Teamwork
    • Ability to interface with both internal team members and external customers as a part of a solution-based sales process
  • Communication
    • Possess strong communication skills to synthesize complex issues and communicate and present effectively
    • Proven ability to influence Customer decisions through exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Travel
    • Territory Coverage is national across BC, with travel planned to achieve financial targets and deepen customer relationships. GE HealthCare Head Office is in Mississauga, Ontario.
