Main Objectives

According to the general guidance developed on the base of EHS (Environment, Health, Safety) requirements, lead the implementation of the EHS programs to ensure the compliance of company, corporate and mandatory EHS requirements and assure management’s initiatives in taking necessary actions to raise employee awareness of health and to reduce, avoid and protect employee from hazards in the workplace.

Key Responsibilities

• Compliance with industrial safety and health laws, including the Act on the Prevention of Major Accidents and the Occupational Safety and Health Act. (Operation of health screenings and management of abnormal findings, Risk assessment, musculoskeletal disorder management, and MSDS management)
• Operation of employee health promotion programs and management of health clinics.
• Management of workplace safety/Health management system and enactment/revision of relevant guidelines.
• Implement accident prevention/response planning.
• Safety/Health inspection and guidance in the workplace.
• Review equipment and processes for potential hazards and recommend improvement to line management.
• Consolidate the training needs and implement EHS training to strengthen the employees’ awareness on EHS.
