This is a hybrid role, 3 days at the office + 2 days work from home model - (Must be able to work in the office 3 days a week).

• Tax Intern’s responsibilities:
• Produces VAT return information from the accounting system.
• Maintains the accuracy of VAT transactions on the accounting systems by reviewing the VAT issues log and other specific checks (as needed);
• Checks relevant documents according to conformity with local and international taxes regulations
• Meets country deadlines in terms of VAT payments/VAT return submissions
• May participate in the SAP implementation of new businesses within EMEA
• Review and updates the reconciliation of the VAT control accounts and records.
• Assists and supports team members in their investigation of reconciling differences
• May prepare internal/external reporting as required
• Produces routine reports, schedules, and summaries for management.

:

• 3rd year student or Master’s student in Finance, Tax Law, Accounting who is smart and eager to learn and develop
• Well organized, detailed, analytical individual
• Good skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, etc.);
• Fluency in English, any other European language may be a plus
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
