Job Responsibilities

  • Strengthen client relationships and grow wallet share through delivery of premium content and exceptional service.
  • Focus on institutional equities clients including index players, long only asset managers, sovereign wealth funds and hedge funds.
  • Work closely with the JPM index research team to provide market leading index analysis to our clients.
  • Partner with Product, Trading and Sales teams to deliver our full suite of liquidity to clients including blocks, automated trading strategies and portfolio optimization solutions.
  • Anticipate and mitigate risks through operational excellence to continue to build our reputational integrity.
  • Show thought leadership on idea generation for new strategic opportunities to help grow our business and follow through to completion.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Highly organized, detail oriented and proactive both internally with sales and trading partners, and externally with clients and corporate management
  • Ability to work effectively with a wide variety of seniorities and disciplines and to adapt communication styles to connect effectively with all layers
  • Efficient at multi-tasking
  • Trading knowledge at both a macro and micro market level
  • Knowledge/familiarity with algorithmic trading and portfolio trading products
  • Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to stressful environments
  • Drive an desire to contribute to the growth of the Cash Equities Franchise
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and general IT skills

This role encompasses the performance of UK regulated activity. The successful candidate will therefore be subject to meeting UK regulatory requirements in the assessment of fitness, propriety, knowledge and competence (as assessed by the Firm) and (where appropriate) approval by the UK Financial Conduct Authority and/or the Prudential Regulation Authority to carry out such activities.
