Technology Project Manager – GDS TD FS

• Developing project plans and goals
• Communicate the vision and goals of the project or portfolio of projects.
• Analyze and develop procedures for management and technical duties.
• Define project responsibilities with stakeholders.
• Participate in how budget and staff are allocated for the project.
• Maintain project time frames, budget estimates and status reports.
• Responsible for the team that:
  • Executes the project plan, collaborating with other technology and business teams to achieve maximum results
  • Delivers the highest quality technology solutions, following industry and EY technology, architecture and security standards.
  • Resolves most appropriate technology solution to meet the business need, including evaluating Reuse, Buy or Build decisions
  • Demonstrates functionality of completed projects to partners
  • Develops performance measures to assess the success of projects and features and settle vital improvements.
  • Partners with internal customers to validate requirements and priorities through various forums (analysis, meetings, focus groups, etc.) and refine those requirements for broad market applicability
  • Collaborates with user experience, business analysts and engineers with a focus on defining project functionality and designing solutions that bring differentiating value to our current and prospective clients

Core Skills

• Bachelor or Master degree with 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in the area of Agile delivery methodologies
• Experience working with Banking, financial services and insurance (BFSI) sector including knowledge of Cards, Payments, Commercial banking, Core banking, Investment banking, Capital markets, Regulatory, Wealth and Asset management (WAM) etc
• Experience in project management and product management, including one or a combination of: leading technology projects, complete SDLC, CI/CD DevOps, and working with a scrum team.
• Must have 5 years of experience in analysing business requirements, identifying gaps, and defining solutions to address complex business challenges.
• Strong knowledge of IT software and hardware with experience working as an IT asset analyst
• Strong knowledge and hands on expertise using ITSM tools like ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, etc.
• Must have good experience with Planning and implementing ITSM processes, software and tools, IT governance and audit requirements
• Knowledge of one more industry standard Agile PM tools – Jira or Azure Devops/Trello/Smartsheet Confluence
• Must have good experience reporting on project status and milestone deliverables status to ensure timely project delivery
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and stakeholder management skills including experience presenting to executive sponsors and to all levels of technical and non-technical staffs
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements
• Must have some technical background as a developer or as a tester in earlier experience.
• Must have 5 years of experience in one or a combination of the following: project development and delivery frameworks; Agile framework; and/or DevOps practices and services.
• Must have some technical background as a developer or as a tester in earlier experience.
• One or more of Industry certifications – PMI - ACP, PMP, PSM, CSM, A-CSM, PSM, SAFe, CSPO
• Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), MS Project, MS Server
• Flexible to work in US and UK time zone

• Understanding of waterfall methodologies
