As a Java Senior Developer you will ensure that our SAP Sustainability Control Tower is ready for the realization of advanced AI use cases. You will develop new functionality, help identifying opportunities for AI features, designing them together with the Scrum teams, and you will help to implement them.

What you bring

• Solid development skills in Java or Database development,
• Software engineering experience with LLMs (Large Language Models) or other AI technologies,
• Strong understanding of ethical considerations and best practices in AI development and deployment, e.g. reliability, performance, security,
• Experience with object-oriented programming, common data structures and algorithms,
• General software engineering knowledge (version control, API design, database design, build automation, testing, code quality.
• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• University degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering, economics (or related field) or equivalent in experience.
