As a Security Analyst Senior II Lead, you will play a pivotal role in Akamai Internal Global Security Operations Center (SOC). You will lead advanced security investigations, incident response efforts, and operational improvements. This role requires both technical expertise and leadership skills.

As a Security Analyst Senior II Lead, you will be responsible for:

• Acting as an escalation point for complex security incidents and investigations
• Conducting trend analysis on security investigations and incidents to derive metrics, measure operational efficiency and propose improvements.
• Leading and managing a team of security analysts, providing guidance, mentorship, and technical expertise.
• Overseeing team development, ensuring continuous skill enhancement through training and coaching.
• Driving operational efficiency by setting KPIs, monitoring performance, and optimizing workflows.
• Conducting analysis on security investigations and incidents to derive metrics and measure operational efficiency.
• Establishing and enforcing procedures/processes to ensure compliance with security standards and policies.
• Managing proof-of-concept (POC) initiatives for new tools and technologies
