About The Role
The role also actively participates in compliance efforts by ensuring IAM systems adhere to relevant regulations and internal policies, while also conducting regular audits and assessments to identify and address potential compliance gaps. The ideal analyst will continuously stay abreast of evolving IAM standard practices, industry standards, and emerging threats. Adapt and implement new technologies and processes to maintain a robust and secure IAM environment.
Your responsibilities include:
- Support Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) systems to enable corporate controls and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Working with engineers and the operations team to support the ongoing IAM project related activities
- Coordinate with business stakeholders, IT applications managers, and security architects to ensure that all applications (on-premise or cloud-based) (customer-facing or employee-facing) are fully integrated into the IGA system.
- Analyze, assess, and remediate corporate information system authentication and authorization security issues.
- Investigate identity and access control security incidents and events to protect corporate IT assets, including intellectual property, personal information, regulated data, and the company's reputation.
- Coordinate identity and access control security and risk management projects with resources from the I/S organization and business unit teams across multiple lines of business.
- Perform identity, access control, and governance reviews for new or upgraded applications, new vendors, I/S projects, SAAS solutions, and IAAS solutions.
- Ensure corporate compliance with applicable identity and access control systems security laws.
- Identifies and evaluates complex business and technology risks, internal controls that mitigate risks, and related opportunities for internal control improvement
What we're looking for:
Required Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Security or IT related field preferred
- 7+ years of experience in Information Systems - Identity Governance and Administration tools
- Technical Proficiency – Hands-on experience or working knowledge of most of the following security functions: multifactor authentication, identity and access control systems and identity governance systems (Saviynt or SailPoint)
- Analytical Abilities - Analytical and information-gathering skills allow for effective assessment of business risks and exposures. Problem-solving skills include working collaboratively with peer technical teams to resolve cross-platform problems or develop security risk solutions.
- Business Knowledge - Understands the security risks associated with key business functions and possible means of exposure that could jeopardize each area.
- Communication skills - Strong verbal & written communication skills. Communications are complete & understandable to the target audience. Demonstrates effective listening skills.
- Independence - Works independently with only general direction; appropriately informs management of relevant issues.
- Administration - Handles routine daily administrative tasks associated with IAM security and specific project assignments, including creating documentation and risk assessments.
