What you’ll do
Business and technical support for users of Citi Risk Applications utilizing good understanding of apps concepts and basic knowledge of other technical areas to field issues and queries from stakeholders, provide short-term resolutions and work with relevant technology partners for long term remediation.
Provide support by answering queries as they come across the helpdesk via email or phone. Determine, and advise the cause of the problems that affect day-to-day functionality of the systems, where possible propose creative solutions or workarounds.
Provide ad hoc/informal user trainings by identifying users requiring assistance with risk systems.
Ensure that enquiries to the helpdesk are responded to and resolved within the timeframes and with high quality.
Escalate of unresolved queries related to data integrity issues and data requests.
Prevent recurrence of database and user problems by analysing problem management records (FAQs/knowledge base). Update the knowledge base when issues are identified which need to be documented for future reference.
Manage updates to the global Risk Systems Support Website via periodic review of process documentation and addition of new Tips.
Work closely with the other regional support teams to ensure knowledge sharing and transfer of best practices.
What we’ll need from you
3-5 years of experience in customer service, business support in Risk or Operations area
Business knowledge/ understanding of financial markets and products.
Strong affinity for IT systems and strong problem solving and analytical skills.
SQL and Unix for data analysis
Collaborative work style and ability to work with a variety of people/functional areas resulting in high quality and timely deliverable.
Ability to deliver high quality work under pressure. result-oriented approach and willingness to take ownership of engagements.
Good customer service, communication and interpersonal skills
Fluent in English
