In this role, you will:

• Partner with a cross-functional team of data scientists, software engineers, and product managers to deliver AI-powered products customers love

• Leverage a broad stack of technologies — Python, PyTorch, AWS, Hugging Face, LangChain, GitHub, and more — to reveal the insights hidden within huge volumes of numeric and textual data

The Ideal Candidate is:

• Innovative. You continually research and evaluate emerging technologies. You stay current on published state-of-the-art methods, technologies, and applications and seek out opportunities to apply them.

• Technical. You’re comfortable with open-source languages and are passionate about developing further. You have experience building large deep learning models - whether on language, images, events, or graphs.

• Statistically-minded.You’ve built models, benchmarked them, and deployed them. You know how to think probabilistically, design experiments, and to interpret automated metrics like Rouge or Bleu.

• A data guru. “Big data” doesn’t faze you and you love data-centric methods. You have the skills to retrieve, combine, clean, filter, annotate, and analyze data from a variety of sources and structures. You know understanding the data is often the key to great data science.

Basic Qualifications:

• Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree plus 9 years of experience in data analytics, or currently has, or is in the process of obtaining a Master’s Degree plus 7 years of experience in data analytics, or currently has, or is in the process of obtaining a PhD plus 5 years of experience in data analytics

• At least 4 years of experience in open source programming languages for large scale data analysis

• At least 4 years of experience with machine learning

• At least 4 years of experience with relational databases

Preferred Qualifications:

• PhD in “STEM” field (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) plus 5 years of experience in data analytics

• At least 1 year of experience working with AWS

• At least 5 years of experience managing people

• At least 5 years of experience in Python, Scala, or R for large scale data analysis

• At least 5 years of experience with machine learning

San Francisco, California (Hybrid On-site):
$146,700 - $167,500 for Data Science Masters
New York City (Hybrid On-Site):
$138,500 - $158,100 for Data Science Masters

This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan."
