What you’ll do:
As a Cash Management Platform Product Manager, you will be a leader in this transformation driving the modernisation of cash management products that are offered on the platform and evolution into a strategic target state. You will sit on the CitiDirect Cash Products team, lead the development of digital capabilities for accounts management and balance optimisation capabilities and work closely with the business, clients, technology, regional partners, and design toward their delivery.
- Create a product vision aligned to business priorities and corresponding roadmap and release plan. Contribute to organisational OKRs.
- Lead development and launch of "whole products", in the broadest sense (i.e., orchestrate go-to market, legal diligence, continuous operational improvement, budget/investment spend, partnerships, API integrations, training, support, etc.).
- Understand market and users through research and data. Have a pulse on competitors but also a forward-thinking view of our client’s digital platform expectations. Drive product enhancements, updates to vision/roadmap to maximise client satisfaction and improve business outcomes.
- Clearly define epics, prioritise based on product vision/roadmap, identify risks/dependencies, and track end-to-end workflow via Jira.
- Work closely with engineering teams to help identify the best technical solutions that fit our platforms strategic target state.
- Align stakeholders around strategic initiatives and key decisions, e.g., orchestrate and present effective executive reviews with minimal support/oversight.
- Understand the business and see how all functions of the company contribute to the growth of the business. Learn how to get things done organisationally.
- Responsibility to deliver significant direct business results and authoritative advice regarding product development that necessitates a degree of responsibility over technical strategy.
- Manage and implement a variety of products and solutions to address client needs.
- Strong interest in designing and optimising user experiences, with a keen eye for usability, accessibility, and client-centric product design.
What we’ll need from you:
- Relevant experience in digital product management.
- Experience working with agile, agile certification preferred.
- Financial services experience, Corporate Treasury a plus.
- Practical knowledge of software development.
- Proven track record of successfully managing in a large and complex business.
- Intellectual curiosity, analytical and conceptual thinker.
- Proactively seeks and develops new opportunities.
- Passionate about providing a great experience to the users of your product.
- Excellent communication skills, able to relay tactical and technical concepts to broad business audiences (e.g., benefits vs features).
- Motivates team members, and stakeholders by holding on to the broader product vision and able to articulate incremental value of frequent drops of product features.
- Cleanly frames and adds structure to chaotic/ambiguous situations and decisions.
- Proven track record as change agent, with ability to encourage and embrace innovative ideas and solutions.
- High emphasis on “getting to yes” and building intercompany relationships.
- Bachelor’s degree/University degree in Finance, Business Administration, Computer Science, specialized analytics or related discipline.
- Master’s degree preferred.
