Purpose Statement

UI Designer Associate, APACwith a strong background in mobile and desktop user interface design, and digital user experience

Who You Are:As theUI Designer Associate, APAC

With guidance from Senior Digital Producers, Platform Product Owners, and senior capability team members, you willYou will also visually craft digital assets for stakeholder alignment, UI assets for the development team, and contribute towards an ever-evolving user experience for both internal and external users.

This position will be based out of Malaysia but will cover the APAC region.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and execution of user interfaces for various digital platforms, including websites, mobile apps, and other digital products with guidance from senior members of your team
• Collaborate with UX designers, developers, content creators, and marketing teams to ensure cohesive and visually appealing UI designs
• Manage project execution timelines, ensuring all deliverables are met on time and within the allocated resource budget
• Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and iterate on designs
• Develop and maintain design documentation, including wireframes, mock-ups, and prototypes
• Ensure all digital products adhere to brand guidelines and design standards
• Stay up to date with the latest UI design trends, tools, and technologies
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand project requirements and provide regular updates on project status
• Troubleshoot and resolve any design-related issues that arise during the development process
• Optimize existing user interfaces for better performance and user engagement

Key Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Computer Science, or in a related field
• 5+ years of experience in UI design and digital production
• Strong experience in mobile application UI development
• Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Illustrator, and Figma (or similar tools)
• Strong understanding of UX principles and best practices
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Proven success as part of a cross-functionalteam working in/with a multi-cultural work environment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Attention to detail and a strong aesthetic sense
• Experience with user research and usability testing
• Demonstrate a solution-oriented mindset towards complex challenges
• Fluency in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus
• Working knowledge of Motion graphics and associated platforms such as Adobe After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or Premiere Pro
• Experience working in the healthcare industry
• Fluency in Mandarin
