As a Network Development Engineer working within AWS Infrastructure you will:
- Create simple, repetitive deployment processes that increase both velocity and quality.- Create and update our network standards and ensure that the network is deployed to these standards
- Create and implement changes on the network- Draft scripts for automating configuration and other tasks using tools such as Python, Perl, etc.About the team

- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience in a large–scale network environment
- 2+ years experience in a network focused hands-on technical role working with IP routing protocols/technologies and platforms in large scale data center and/or WAN network environments.
- 1+ years Unix/Linux command line experience

- Thorough understanding of TCP/IP networking, IP routing, Server Load Balancing, and Network Security architecture and core technologies such as IP, TCP, OSPF/IS-IS, BGP, MPLS, Server Load Balancers, Firewalls, ACLs, DNS, DHCP, IPAM, LDAP, NFS, etc.
- Knowledge of network analysis fundamentals and robust troubleshooting skills; specifically, network performance analysis
- Experience working with customers to diagnose a problem, and work toward resolution
- Ability to script in Perl, Python, shell, C or C++ and strong understanding of load balancing and layer 4-7 technologies
