AS A SENIOR PRINCIPAL SOFTWARE ENGINEER IN DB CONNECTORS, YOU WILL :
- Design and implement a highly scalable data replication systems for OLTP databases
- Drive tactical and strategic plans and initiatives for the whole area
- Participate in decision-making processes on technical or business issues
- Collaborate with engineers across teams to help deliver cross-functional initiatives
- Ensure operational readiness of the services and meet the commitments to our customers regarding reliability, availability, and performance
- 18+ years of industry experience designing, building, and supporting large-scale systems in production.
- Experience in core stacks of the most popular OLTP databases.
- Expertise and proven record of building complex data replication systems.
- Passionate about improving the overall customer experience.
- Deep multi-faceted appreciation for building end-to-end customer-facing products.
- Strong CS fundamentals, including proficiency with data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems (fluency in Java preferred).
- Experience working with cross-teams and product managers.
- BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or related majors.
