As a Presales Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting, strengthening, and professionalizing the Presales & Project Sales in Southeast Asia & Oceania. You will play a crucial role in enhancing business development, with a focus on our VRF solutions (DVM).
Role and Responsibilities
- Improve and enhance the results of the System Air-Condition department:VRF solutions(DVM) & Commercial Air-Conditioning (CAC).
- Develop new business ideas and models to support the company’s growth.
- Focus on close collaboration with the responsible countries, with the local Presales/Sales team.
- Follow up of the figures and targets per country (project pipeline, success ratio).
- Assist regional teams with operational tasks, such as analysing each country's situation and developing strategies to address their specific needs.
- Operational Excellence and KPI management.
- Organisation of conference for knowledge sharing internally and externally.
- Assist in sales training to improve the sales team's understanding of product features and benefits.
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer needs and provide technical expertise, Sales Materials/Tools to support sales efforts.
- Enhance theConsultants/Contractorsnetwork in the different Asian countries.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and competitor products.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline; degree in air conditioning or refrigeration is preferred
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales/presales role within a technical/mechanical building engineering environment (network) with preferably HVAC knowledge
- Strong understanding of air conditioning systems, including design, installation, and maintenance
- Passion for engineering, and is used to consultative selling, knows what is important, and is technically achievable to create an ideal situation for the customer
- Strong experience working within complex matrix and international environments
- Has a strong network in the mechanical building branch and their clients in Asia
- Vision of thebuilding/installation/HVACmarket, is used to looking ahead
- An organized, effective and positive person who has proven experience in working independently and within multicultural teams
- Excellent communication skills are a necessity for this position. The position is a supervisory role, and communication must be effective towards the team, and also towards the international HQ in Korea, and several local country organizations
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to engage with empathy, persuasiveness, and confidence
- Creative and proactive go-getter mindset with the ability to influence and build trust across stakeholders
- Effective ambassador of the Pre-Sales and Business Development team, representing the function credibly, and as a key contact to external partners and clients
- Proficiency in English, and preferably any additional Asian language
- Willingness to travel frequently within Southeast Asia & Oceania (30%)
