Identifies enhancement to Nokia defense assets for Defense partners, positions Nokia products, validates and introduces the solution.
As an Architect, acts as a trusted advisor, partnering with the customers on their needs and defining the solution.
Contributes to overall Space & Defense Architecture objectives and deliverables as needed, including technology Roadmap and feature definition/screening
Understands the end user’s current & future expectations and needs in order to act as the advocate of the Defense customer.
Positions our company’s portfolio for Defense services and capabilities.
Translates Defense customer’s requirements to design the full scope of the solution to achieve workable end-to-end solutions including Nokia and possibly third-party sub-systems and contributions
Specifies & designs effective end-to-end solutions, through the high level and detail design of the architecture, to meet customer expectations.
Guiding the design and implementation of Defense projects within Special Projects team
Applies solution architecture methodology, best practices, processes and principles to create value for the customer.
Demonstrates and validates the solution with customer.
Lab preparation prior to execution in front of customer
Set up and drives Demos, Trials, Proof of Concept at Nokia or customer site.
Frequent and direct customer interaction, possibly driving solutions in the customer’s lab.
High product and technology knowledge that allows quick reaction when performing tests or getting requests from customers.
Ability to develop high quality technical documents (HLD/LLD, Test Reports) and training material.
Fault investigation both remotely and on-site as requested.
Participates in technical meetings and conference calls
Possibility to travel in Europe.
KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Minimum 10-12 years’ work experience
Excellent understanding of Nokia Core Network portfolio and technology
Cloud expertise and Applications integration experience is a plus
Understanding of 3GPP specification for 4G and 5G
Good knowledge on cellular network deployment/operations
Significant customer-facing interaction & experience is highly desired
Network/connections within CNS needed
Familiarity with the Military domain is a plus
Prior experience as productization, NPI or Architect
Candidate should exhibit initiative, be accountable, be able to work in a highly dynamic environment, have excellent oral and writing skills, be willing & able to travel globally
Possesses a solid understanding of systematic troubleshooting, as well as having the capabilities to identify software and hardware issues in a timely manner with minimal supervision
Very good interpersonal and networking capabilities & skills
Decision making and prioritizing own work
Capability for working under pressure and under short time reaction constraints.
Fluent in English and French.
Bachelor’s degree required, MBA or Master of Science a plus
