Job summary:
As an Associate within the EMEA EM Emerging Markets UK Real Asset Manager Sales team, you will work closely with global partners across Emerging Markets Sales, Trading and Research. You will develop your understanding of global fixed income and FX markets, derivatives, and structured solutions to enhance your skillset and appeal to a wide range of clients. You will be responsible for identifying and cultivating new business opportunities, playing a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and expanding our client franchise.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage the distribution of Emerging Markets fixed income products to institutional clients
- Maintain and develop client relationships across our franchise of Asset Managers
- Collaborate with clients and internal business partners in Global Sales, Trading and Research
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities
- Prepare and deliver trade recommendations showcasing our products and services
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills; ability to confidently interact with clients and internal stakeholders
- Strong understanding of emerging market dynamics, including geopolitical, economic, and regulatory factors
- Comfortable utilizing data-driven analytic solutions to facilitate daily trade ideas
- Strong quantitative skills; comfort with learning various analytics models and associated products
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing market conditions
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Experience in FICC sales or related financial markets
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field
- Proven track record of driving business growth and client engagement
This role encompasses the performance of UK regulated activity. The successful candidate will therefore be subject to meeting UK regulatory requirements in the assessment of fitness, propriety, knowledge and competence (as assessed by the Firm) and (where appropriate) approval by the UK Financial Conduct Authority and/or the Prudential Regulation Authority to carry out such activities.
