Key Responsibilities:

• Ability to analyze data gaps between various front office source systems providing data for building liquidity models
• Building of robust data quality and control processes to ensure project delivers uniform and good quality data
• The project involves work on the existing tactical tool, as well as a focus on moving this to the long-term strategic application
• Holding requirement gathering sessions, gaining consensus and creation of meeting minutes.
• Translating business requirements into Business and Technical documents.
• Validation that the application meets the project specification and clients expectations.
• Providing detailed analysis and documentation of processes and flows where necessary.
• Proficiency in Excel will be required for data analysis and model building. It is a must have.
• Ability to create Power Point presentations for senior management documenting the vision and current project status

The role is expected to work closely with:

• Various workstreams to understand data requirements for building liquidity, collateral and capital models
• Other technical and analyst team members present globally to ensure a coherent and robust solution environment.
• Other interfaced systems which are required for the overall front to back to operate correctly. To understand data sources/issues, and to integrate appropriate tactical and strategic initiatives into the technical roadmap.

Additional Skills:

• 5-10 yrs of overall IT/Finance experience
• Strong ability to analyse complex workflows and datasets
• Assessment and management of risks and issues
• Experience in Liquidity & Collateral management or Regulatory Reporting will be a plus
• Proven track record in business analysis, including gathering and documenting business requirements, functional specifications and test scenarios
• Must have had experience working according to a project plan and delivering technology solutions
• A sound understanding of the project life cycle - experience working on projects utilising Agile methodology would be advantageous
• Ability to engage in technical interpretations would be beneficial, but not essential
• Confident self-starter who can work under pressure, using their own initiative and with the drive to see tasks through to completion
• Ability to work to aggressive deadlines
• Excellent communicator and influencer, able to build relationships with colleagues at all levels from a range of departments, business areas and cultures
• Desire to challenge existing processes and drive forward change
• Initiative and ability to think laterally
• Very strong attention to detail
• Ability to make persuading presentations
• Competent in Word & Excel
