JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Senior Quality Engineer here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our SATCOM products. You will be responsible for developing and implementing quality control processes, conducting inspections and audits, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Your expertise in quality engineering will contribute to the success of our SATCOM business unit and help us deliver high-quality products to our customers. You will report directly to our Quality Manager and you'll work out of our Kanata, ON location. In this role, you will impact the quality and reliability of our SATCOM products, ensuring that they meet or exceed customer expectations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process initiatives that ensure compliance with customer requirements, regulatory agencies, government regulations and engineering specifications while instilling site accountability for governance of the Quality System, product acceptance and, product quality.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement quality control processes and procedures
  • Conduct inspections and audits to ensure compliance with quality standards
  • Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions
  • Perform regulatory reviews and cost improvement analysis
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and reliability


YOU MUST HAVE

  • 5+ years of experience in quality engineering
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering specialized in Industrial, Mechanical or Electrical engineering or a related field

  • Strong knowledge of quality control processes and methodologies
  • Experience in conducting inspections and audits
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Six Sigma certification
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
