Be a key contributor to our platform and the team behind it, co-shaping all technical aspects of software development including our DevOps culture, methodologies, feasibility studies, timely delivery, development principles and practices, and quality assurance.
Work closely with the People Leads and Product Owners of the group, mentor DevOps Engineers and report to the Tech Lead.
Actively contribute to technical vision, strategy, and architecture that provides guidance and ensures the ability to meet business requirements in the mid and long term.
Be a sparring partner and coach for engineers in the team; provide regular in-depth feedback.
Be a lead contributor in our growing Signavio Cloud Infrastructure team.
Work closely with a team of DevOps Engineers to design, build, and maintain the platform for our production systems using AWS, Kubernetes, CDK, and Terraform
Follow and push our strict infrastructure-as-code / GitOps approach on AWS.
Help us build a unified platform on top of AWS and SAP BTP
Help enable other software engineering teams to own their parts of the infrastructure.
Together with compliance and security engineers you make sure that our SaaS product meets regulatory requirements of modern B2B SaaS solutions, as well as our business requirements.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
Engineering graduate with 7 - 12 years of relevant work experience with expert skills in more than one programming language, such as Go, Python, or Java.
Longtime experience in hands-on positions, developed leadership skills over time.
Experience and toolset in leading and enabling team in achieving technical excellence.
Apply software engineering practices like GitOps / ArgoCD, CI/CD, TDD, and GitHub workflow to infrastructure.
You understand concepts of High Availability, Scalability, Security, and Disaster Recovery
Previous experience as active part of a DevOps transformation or you have several years of experience working in a DevOps culture.
Experience working with AWS cloud technologies and Kubernetes. Additional experience in Terraform, CDK and SAP BTP Preferred
Strong strategic thinking and ability to set and drive the team towards the North Star
Great interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively, share knowledge and enable others.
