Required Qualifications:

• 9+ years technical experience in network design, development, and automation
  • OR Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field AND 6+ years technical experience in network design, development, and automation.
  • OR Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 4+ years technical experience in network design, development, and automation
  • OR Doctorate Degree in Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 3+ years technical experience in network design, development, and automation.
• 5+ years of experience with High Performance Computing

• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
  • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

• Triages, troubleshoots, and repairs complex multi-layer live site issues by applying end-to-end expertise in physical and virtual network components and features (e.g., device operating systems), problem management tools (e.g., root cause analysis, trend analysis, postmortems, repair items), and/or APIs and register sets to diagnose issues and address problems with automated, long-term, and sustainable solutions with minimal or no disruption to customers.
• Participates in on-call/DRI duties to manage and resolve incidents in production; advises engineers on best practices for triage, troubleshooting, and repairing issues that may involve both virtual and physical network components and features.
• You proactively seek mentorship and feedback from others, and provide feedback to others.
