Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3 years of experience in technical project management, stakeholder management, professional services, solution engineering, or technical consulting in the mobile/CE/embedded space.
- 2 years of experience in low-level/embedded systems, and internet streaming technologies within the consumer electronics or embedded systems domain.
- 1 year of experience in technical troubleshooting and writing code in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, Kotlin, C++ or Python).
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with Android application or platform development experience including Android kernel, and Android BSP.
- Experience in the consumer electronics or embedded systems industry, with an understanding of internet and streaming technologies.
- Experience with performance analysis and tuning in embedded systems and Android.
- Experience with a proactive, ownership-driven approach to solve problems, while managing multiple projects and stakeholders.
- Experience with Linux kernel, internals, device driver APIs, and excellent communication skills and the ability to travel to mainland China, to collaborate with partners.
- Ability to communicate in Mandarin Chinese fluently to support client relationship management in this region.
