WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a Senior Dev - Operations Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure and services to ensure the availability, reliability, and scalability of mission-critical applications. You will work closely with development, security, and other teams to optimize cloud operations and drive innovation.

• Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on the SAP BTP Platform. Ensure all the deployments are successfully done
• Implement best practices for resource provisioning, configuration, and optimization to ensure performance and cost-efficiency.
• Hold the end to end responsibility of DevOPs for the Cloud services and products.
• Architect and implement solutions for high availability and disaster recovery . Configure redundancy, failover mechanisms to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
• Set up monitoring , alerting, and logging systems to proactively detect and respond to incidents and performance issues.
• Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize cloud infrastructure and applications for improved efficiency and scalability.
• Implement security controls, policies , and procedures to protect cloud resources and data from unauthorized access and breaches.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support secure software development, testing, and deployment processes and first level trouble shooting in cloud environments.
• Learn the latest DevOps and related tools and methodologies. Share knowledge and best practices with team members.
• Identify opportunities for innovation , cost optimization , and process enhancements to drive business outcomes.
• Keep the pipelines running all the time with blue-green deployment model (high availability, zero downtime).
• Continuously develop and mature our automation landscape (e.g. K8S, bash, CI/CD Pipelines etc. ) to help to reduce manual efforts across the full S/4HANA stack and application lifecycle in Dev and Ops

WHAT YOU BRING

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 7 to 9 year of experience in cloud operations or infrastructure roles preferably in SAP BTP.
• Proficiency in cloud infrastructure management tools and services, including compute, storage, networking, and security.
• Experience in planning and writing automation scripts, Shell scripting knowledge.
• Experience in developing, configuring automated deployment scripts and pipelines using CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git, GitLab CI, Github workflows and CI/CD pipelines for efficient deployment.
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture principles, design patterns, and best practices.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Dynatrace, Azure Monitor, ELK stack, or Prometheus/Grafana.
• Knowledge of automation and orchestration tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and implement effective solutions.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
