Your key responsibilities
As a manager in strategy consulting practice, you will be a key participant in work streams and engagements as you translate client needs into project tasks and deliverables. You will work closely with Real Estate, Hospitality and Tourism clients to develop and execute their strategic agendas. You can expect to spend most of your time working on strategy-related projects throughout the real estate lifecycle which include (but not limited to): long-term strategy roadmaps, feasibility studies, concept ideation/development, highest-and-best use analysis, destination strategy, tourism product development (leisure and entertainment), growth/market entry & expansion strategy, valuation, transactions, due diligence, business transformation and greenfield projects.
Skills and attributes for success
As a Manager within the RHT team, you will help deliver a variety of engagements which includes:
- Strategic engagements developing the vision, concepts, and business plans for some of the large developments in the region.
- Advising clients throughout the real estate lifecycle, such as feasibilities, transactions, operator search and selection, or
- Working with management on parts of the acquisition process and regularly undertaking valuations for strategic priorities, among others.
- You will be a key point of contact for clients and will also play a vital role in coaching and developing junior members of the team.
- Your mandate will be to ensure quality deliverables and maintaining healthy client engagement.
To qualify for the role, you must have:
- A bachelor's degree from a top-ranking school with outstanding academic performance.
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in strategy related work preferably in Real Estate/Hospitality and Tourism.
- Experience in commercial real estate, hospitality or tourism with focus on strategy development, acquisition, due diligence, real estate valuation, loan underwriting, asset management, finance, or market research.
- High business acumen and strategic mindset.
- Strong analytical skills with focus on valuation and finance.
- Excellent problem solving, project management, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
- Effective organization and time management skills with the ability to work fast-paced environment and adhere to project deadlines.
- Willingness and flexibility to travel within the MENA region, when necessary.
Ideally, you’ll also have:
- MBA or master’s degree from a top tier business school.
- Previous experience in strategy consulting, Private Equity, or Real Estate development.
- CFA/CAIA/RICS qualification
- Arabic Language capabilities preferably
