Description
- Addressing challenges in automatic evaluation of generative results, identification and classification of failure cases, and strategies for assessing their prevalence and severity.- Streamlining human-in-the-loop processes for dataset construction, and creating and implementing systems that execute on strategies to account for subjectivity and human error.- Synthesis of training data as well as synthesis of augmentations to real-world data.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelors, Masters or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field; or equivalent experience
  • Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams passionate about practical machine learning solutions
  • Ability to mentor and lead data scientists while also having a system design and implementation perspective
  • Makes significant hands-on contributions to algorithms and/or implementation
Preferred Qualifications
  • Passion for excellence and can instill this passion into the team and the culture
  • Product-focused and strategic mentality, comfortable making hard choices from among competing priorities
  • Skill in providing ongoing transparency to stakeholders and in cross-disciplinary communication
Pay & Benefits
  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $208,300 and $360,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
