The Test Specialist develops and executes high volume testing efforts within the Workday environment; specifically supporting Human Capital Management and Reporting. Working within their squad, they perform a hands-on role in timely test activity execution and documentation.
· Responsible for working with testing leads, architects, and other stakeholders to execute functional and performance testing.
· Develop optimized test scenarios, document detailed test scripting, identify opportunities for test optimization, and document test requirements.
· Responsible for continuously reporting testing status, perform defect ticket tracking, and analyze test outcomes for improvement.
· Involved in providing support within their squad throughout development and QA practices, providing clarifications and advice on development, defects, risks.
· This individual has excellent organizational and communication skills, is detail-oriented, and can multi-task and manage time well.
· Performs other duties as needed to support the complete life cycle of the HRIS Project.
· Manages other special projects as assigned.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise- At least 1-2 years experience as tester
- Minimum of 2 years in HRIS systems and HR Operations
- Experience in core system testing, including end to end across applications
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Experience in at least one complete life cycle in Workday implementation
- Overall knowledge of Workday Human Capital Management and Reporting
