The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
- Inspect, rebuild, and run equipment for composite wire production.
- Enter all required information into production reporting databases.
- Lead daily tier meeting and interact with other group leader to maintain open communication.
- Demonstrating safe work behaviors to avoid injury to self and others.
- Contributing to continuous improvement and problem solving to drive growth and increase efficiency.
- Support training efforts and provide training and certifications to other employees-on you own or directed by supervision.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Possess a High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed prior to start)
- Six (6) months of leadership experience
- Interested and available to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as scheduled working 8 consecutive hours per day on a fixed night shift
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Mechanical and electrical skills to troubleshoot, adjust, repair and maintain equipment.
- Knowledge of basic Windows-based operating systems.
- Experience performing stringent quality control inspections.
- Ability to complete work without supervision and work well within a team environment.
Work location:
Does not include travel
