Qualcomm Automotive team is seeking engineer with experience in
Automotive Platform BSP Engineer.This Position is for a strong Software Engineer with good knowledge and hands-on experience in Design/Development/Debugging aspects of Board support package (BSP) on one or more of operating systems like Linux, Android, QNX and Hypervisor embedded systems. The Main responsibility is to provide direct support to Qualcomm customers and partners with the design, development and debug of Qualcomm reference designs SW related issues and helping to customize/optimize software to meet the product requirements using the features in Qualcomm SOC. The Candidate must quickly ramp-up onto an existing project, understand Automotive platform Hardware and Software driver architecture, read/write technical specifications/requirements, demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving abilities and work closely with external customers to customize and launch their new products.

【 Minimum Qualifications 】

• 10+ years above in Automotive/Mobile industrial.

• 10+ years experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc

• Experience High level operating systems (HLOS), Operating Systems preferably QNX, Linux, Android with emphasis on device driver development and BSP

• Solid hands-on software design and development experience on complex embedded computing platforms.

• Experience with Embedded software development debugging tools such as JTAG, Trace32 and oscilloscope/Logical Analyzer

• Understanding of ARM architecture

• Knowledge of automotive-specific frameworks (eg. such as ISO26262, Classic/Adaptive AutoSAR)

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

【Preferred Qualifications】

• Experience with Qualcomm platform solution

• Experience in automotive products, eg. infotainment, telematics, ADAS, a definite plus.

• Live debugging and Post-mortem debugging

• Exposure to Hypervisors and Virtualization

• Virtual memory, shared memory, mutual exclusion, critical sections

• Exposure to Secure boot and Trusted Operating systems concept.

• Experience with Serial peripherals UART, SPI, QSPI I2C, PCIe

• Experience with USB topology and modes of operation

• Experience with System performance profiling and optimization

• Experience with Multitasking systems and architecture

• Experience with Audio Frame works and Drivers, Linux ALSA architecture, Audio processing Algorithms, TDM/PCM/I2S/PDM/Slimbus/Soundwire Audio Hardware Interfaces, Digital Microphones, Amplifiers and Audio Codecs, Audio DSP

• Natural self-starter, self-motivated, independent and resourceful problem solver.

• Good communication in both Chinese and English, outstanding oral and written communication skills capable of presenting persuasively to all levels of the organization in an articulate and succinct manner. Active listening ability.

• High intention in engineering and technical analysis.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience.

Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience.

PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience.

• 2+ years of experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.

• 1+ year of experience with debugging techniques.
