What You Will Accomplish:

  • Create the strategy andgo-to-marketplan for new business development and acquisition in eBay’sEuropean cross border trade markets(Poland, Spain, Netherlands, Austria, Belgium, Switzerland, Ireland).

  • Develop acustomer-ledstrategy and plan, led by a mix of qualitative andquantitative marketresearch and data.

  • Identifyand evaluate potentialEuropeanpartnership opportunities that align with the company's strategic goals andobjectives.

  • Build andmaintainrelationships with key collaborators, including potential partners, industry leaders, and internal teams.

  • Be responsible for the negotiation and execution of partnership agreements, ensuring terms are mutually beneficial and aligned with businessobjectives.

  • Develop and lead partnership pipelines, supervising progress and ensuringtimelyfollow-up on opportunities.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, product,financeand legal, to develop and implementyour plan.

  • Drive initiatives tooptimizeexisting partnerships, finding opportunitiesfor expansion and growth.

  • Monitor industry trends and competitive landscape toidentifynew partnership opportunities and stay ahead of market developments.

  • Track and analyze partnership performance metrics, providing regular reporting and insights toseniorteam members.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert onlargepartnership standard processes and industry trends, providing guidance and support to internal teams as needed.

  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote our brand andidentifypotential partnerships.


What You Will Bring:

  • consultancyor related roles.

  • Minimum 3-5 years in a senior and strategic salesrole, ideally leading a sales and business development team.

  • Confirmed experience of creating a sales/businessdevelopment strategy and go-to-market plan, in a sophisticated corporate environment and multi-market structure.

  • Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and build consensus across internal and external partners.

  • Strategic problem solver with the ability toidentifyand prioritize partnership opportunities based on business impact.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and lead multiple priorities effectively.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data and trends to drive decision-making.

  • Developinga high levelof professionalism andproficiencyinfinalisingdeals and handling vital documentation.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build andmaintainrelationships at all levels of the organization.

  • Experience of previously working in at least one other European market would be preferred.

  • Experience in technology, retail, FMCG, or related industries preferred.

  • Industry specific experience inany of the following categories would beadvantageous:Automotive, Home & Garden, Fashion, Luxury, Electronics, Recommerce.

  • Fluent English, and oneadditionalEuropean language preferred.

  • Results-oriented approach with a focus on driving measurable business outcomes through partnerships.

  • Flexibility to travelin Europeas needed for partnership meetings, conferences, and events.

  • Ability to interact with all levels of theorganisationand attend and activelyparticipatein leadership meetings.

  • Maintain the highest standards of professional integrity and conduct at all times when dealing with external partners.

  • Hybrid based role in eBay’s Dublin office, withoccasionaltravel across Europe.

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field; MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
