This position will report to the Performance Manager for the Business Office of the ET&S CIO. Responsibilities will be to assist with all aspects of performance management including but not limited to:• Proactively serve as a “trusted advisor,” to the Security Engineering team for the purpose of mitigating technology risk strategy by focusing on architecture/policy exceptions, vulnerability remediation strategy, software/hardware end of life, metric analysis, and Issues as well as other special technology initiatives that may occur.• The role requires an individual to proactively provide data visibility and guidance to application teams and management by identifying and prioritizing areas of focus, opportunities for advancement and to eliminate areas of risk. An understanding of the technology environment and learning about the purpose of the Security Engineering applications is desired.• You will be required to engage with proper contacts to address potential risks and escalate to management when required. It requires leadership and strong written and verbal communication skills with various teams as well as having the skills to manage in a collaborative working environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Responsible for the development and implementation of solution roadmaps and to ensure successful introductions across the business.
• Analyze IT data and information to build information based technology details that will recommend application support teams and management with targeted remediations or solutions. Possess a standard knowledge of most technical and business IT resources and use them to effectively coordinate team members.
• Partner and lead with key staff members to assist strategic business plans or remediation actions.
• Utilize the appropriate IT technologies and ensure that customers have the solutions they need, when they need them, and in the media best suited to their requirements.
• Collaborate with enterprise architecture and various IT operations teams to ensure solutions target company standards.
• Basic IT Technology Knowledge
• Basic project management skills
• Above standard oral and written communication skills from IT and non-IT target audiences
• Ability to strategic think and plan across IT teams
• Above standard problem solving techniques that enable IT technical teams to work towards achievable target
• Be performance driven to achieve IT strategic goals
