Job Responsibilities:

The role includes responsibility for the entire product management cycle of mutual funds and ETFs. This includes driving the process for launching investment products in line with business priorities and in coordination with key stakeholders. The role involves a high degree of interaction with our different functional partners such as Investment Due Diligence teams, Investment Governance teams, Advisers, Legal, Risk, Tax, Compliance and Middle Office. Building and maintaining relationships with fund houses, ETF providers and the fund industry in general is also key to the role.

  • Manage core IPB relationships including with Advisors and Investment teams, to improve the fund palette and tailor investment solutions for advisory, brokerage and managed business.
  • Partner with fund houses, ETF providers and financial counterparties to negotiate business terms, distribution agreements and the launch of investment solutions.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for the mutual fund and ETF offering by providing information to business partners, operations, control teams and portfolio managers.
  • Resolve issues impacting the products and support the ongoing management of the fund investment platforms.
  • Support the implementation of effective processes for new product launches and ongoing product management pipeline.
  • Monitor and be aware of industry trends impacting the product offering.
  • Manage fund house requests including Know Your Distributor (KYD) surveys, due diligence questionnaires and amendments to legal contracts.

  • Highly competent with core MS Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills

  • Experience in the asset or wealth management industry would be beneficial.
  • Knowledge of programming language tools (Python) and business intelligent tool (Tableau, Alteryx) an advantage.
  • Additional European languages a benefit – Italian, French, German or Spanish
