A Supervising Associate - Taxassists the Tax Manager in ensuring compliance with tax regulations and the planning and preparation of tax reporting. Also, this role contributes to the development of tax processes and procedures, ensuring the complete and accurate preparation of financial and tax schedules and reports, compliance monitoring and record protection requirements. He / She is capable of assisting in the development and enhancement of company policies and procedures and advising management on potential regulatory and compliance risks.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare tax schedule and reports after month-end closing for filing and monthly monitoring reports for submission to global tax compliance.
- Prepare assigned FS schedules audit and monitor audit progress.
- Review tax returns and related work papers for filing.
- Support/Assist external and/or internal audit.
- Assist to develop finance policies or streamline business processes.
- Promptly communicate relevant tax updates to the team and other stakeholders.
- Respond to all notices and various correspondence received from tax and regulatory authorities, if any.
- Will liaise in case needed for business development and compliance transactions.
- Perform and deliver favorable output for other reports and relevant compliance that may be required from time to time.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Accountancy graduate; CPA required.
- Minimum of one (1) year supervisory experience and two (2) years experience in General accounting and FS preparation.
- Minimum of two (2) years experience in tax preparation and submission.
- Minimum of three (3) years experience in full cycle of accounting operations.
- Excellent communication skills. Strong command in English language, both written and verbal.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking and decision-making skills.
- Capable of effectively developing and maintaining good relationships with team members and stakeholders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
