As a ICT/CyberSecurity Engineer here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and resilience of our information and communication technology systems.
You will play a critical role in protecting customer infrastructure from cyber threats and ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the data.
With your expertise in ICT and cybersecurity, you will contribute to the development and implementation of robust security measures and best practices.
You will report directly to our European ICT Cybersecurity Leader and will work out of our Milan, Italy location on a hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will impact the safety and integrity of systems, enabling us to deliver innovative solutions to our customers while maintaining the highest standards of security.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the designing, engineering, configuring, implementing, commissioning, securing and supporting of ICT infrastructure (Server, Storage, Network, Virtual Platforms) and Enterprise Applications at both new and existing client sites.
- Contribute to Technical Risk Reviews (TRR) for projects in your respective district that involve ICT/Networking/Cyber Security
- Be an active contributor to the Global ICT & Cyber Security Centre of Excellence, and work to promote excellence and standardisation in your respective region/district.
- Promote and raise awareness of HBS ICT and Cyber security offerings portfolio and be the focal point for executing these offerings
- Provide a high level of technical expertise / take ownership of the maintenance of existing complex ICT infrastructure system installations at client sites. This role will have a focus on the implementation and support of Honeywell software platforms such as EBI, DVM and Energy Manager.
- Develop effective working relationships with Honeywell’s Technical Support Groups, systems users and software vendors, to ensure systems can be well maintained, used effectively, and that requests for action to correct system problems can be attended to effectively and promptly.

You Must Have
- Technical Diploma and/or Tertiary Education in Information Technology/Systems or Computer Science (Essential).
- Certification and/or Training in relevant ICT industry technologies such as CCNA (Cisco), MCSA (Microsoft), VCP (VMware), or similar.
- Certification and/or Training in relevant Cyber qualifications.
- 4+ years experience in an IT Systems Engineer or equivalent capacity.
- Proficient in networking, servers, storage, IT security, and enterprise applications.
- Current and demonstrated knowledge and systems experience in an enterprise environment with the following technologies:
Windows Servers
Virtualisation Technologies (VMware preferred)
Networking, TCP/IP and LAN/WAN
SAN Storage
Cybersecurity
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills and the ability to develop innovative and creative solutions in a complex multiple systems environment.
- Experience with security frameworks such as: ISO 27001, NIST Guidelines and IEC/ISA 62443.
Understanding of building support systems such as BMS, Security and CCTV.
Experience in implementing IT solutions and working with vendors in a construction project environment.
Experience in the implementation of ITIL practices, continuous improvement and client focused service delivery standards and methodologies in large and complex organisations.
