The Executive. Director,Trade Relations or Channel Access– Dermatology is a senior leadership role responsible for developing and executing comprehensive distribution strategies across all channels, including specialty pharmacy & retail. This individual will lead efforts to optimize product access, reimbursement, and distribution, ensuring that patients can obtain our products efficiently and effectively. Essential Functions of the Job (Key responsibilities)
Ensure effective supply chain management and distribution processes to meet market demand.
Lead the on-going development of strategic plans for specialty pharmacy, including distribution, enhanced networks & patient support services.
Lead the on-going development of strategic plans for retail pharmacy network, including direct distribution agreements
Oversee performance management and compliance of all channel agreements
Establish and maintain strong relationships with retail, specialty pharmacies, wholesalers, and other distribution partners.
Design, establish, and manage the reporting of ongoing operational performance analytics.
Oversee budgeting and budget management.
Design, establish, and manage advanced analytics and insights capabilities to provide ongoing market feedback to leadership and the broader organization.
Ensure all relevant SOPs and work instructions are developed and maintained.
Recruit, train, manage and develop staff as required.
Create internal training, and ensure market messaging, digital presence, and other awareness efforts clearly articulate the features and benefits of dermatology channel support programs.
Participate in the internal medical legal copy review and approval process for patient/HCP support materials (education, promotion, etc.).
Qualifications (Minimal acceptable level of education, work experience, and competency)
Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA, PharmD, etc.) preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in channel/trade/distributiont,pecialty pharmacy & market access, with a proven track record of success in a leadership role.
Current dermatology, immunology and specialty biologics and product launch experience preferred.
Deep understanding of the healthcare and pharmaceutical industry, including payer and provider dynamics, reimbursement processes, and distribution channels.
Strong strategic thinking, problem solving, and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills.
Ability to travel as required.
