This new role reporting to the Director, Global Sales Compensation will be responsible for overall program planning and monitoring to ensure timelines are met and key stakeholders are aligned. The role is responsible for the development and execution of seamless, concise, clear communication strategies. Additional responsibilities include formalizing decision documentation and creating and managing process flows to enable effective communication. Responsibilities include:

  • Organize and lead planning activities resulting in the creation of the Sales Compensation design and operations release/program roadmap. Ensure alignment with Sales planning expectations and timing
  • Lead effective project / program governance and stakeholdermanagement, ensuringadequate understanding of timelines, resource needs, risks, contentions, and dependencies
  • Collaborate with key internal & external stakeholders to create detailed project plan(s) to accomplish a multilayered program roadmap.
  • Develop and manage communication materials and agendas for Steering Committee, Compensation Committee, compensation guidelines, plan documents, etc
  • Identify program impediments and address including proper escalation to individuals/groups as needed
  • Lead program retrospectives and commitment to improvement on a regular cadence
  • Assess the current methodology, identify / rationalize gaps vs. best practices, and continuously improve the process to support our aggressive deployment schedule.
  • Establish communications cadence, operational review meetings, and reporting progress against goals and status of initiatives to ensure appropriate program governance while build and maintain relationships to increase collaboration and productivity.
  • Define and execute communication strategies for diverse stakeholder groups. Develop and manage ongoing meeting cadence calendars.
  • Lead development of communication material to include meeting materials and minutes; decision documentation, tracking follow up items, plan overviews; approval documents; governance items
  • Set up and maintain departmental document repositories, global distribution lists, and various databases for leadership-level information dissemination and archiving.
  • Exercise smart decision-making and effectively collaborate with other leaders and stakeholders to address key issues and roadblocks aggressively and in a timely fashion.
  • Ensure measurable KPIs are developed for the program, and that they align to the overall KPIs for the product.

Professional experience requirements:

  • Candidates from 3-5 years of experience in strategy, business operations, project/program management and/or change management.
  • Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 6 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 3 years experience; or equivalent experience.
  • Successful track record of managing complex programs with multiple milestones and timelines.
  • Proven ability to develop effective, matrixed, cross-organization relationships, collaborating and communicating across business and technology stakeholders and multiple geographies
  • Strong business acumen and strong voice of the customer across the program delivery lifecycle.
  • Good knowledge of project management process, project management software tools, templates and management techniques
  • Excellent verbal communication, presentation, collaboration and teamwork skills with demonstrated ability to gain trust, secure buy-in and influence change at all levels.
  • Highly skilled in the creation of presentations, new reporting mechanisms and other documents. High attention to detail with ability to synthesize information from multiple sources and distill it in crisp, clear language appropriate for a variety of audiences.
  • Strong analytical, strategic-thinking, problem-solving, and organizational skills as well as the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities, assignments, and roles.
  • Advanced proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint) required. SQL nice to have
  • Strong process orientation and demonstrated ability to define and document new or improved business and financial planning and management processes and reporting mechanisms. Demonstrated understanding of process improvement programs and processes, with experience driving them successfully within organizations highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a team-based environment that is fast-paced, rapidly changing, and service-oriented.
  • Proactive, resourceful, and creative in fully utilizing available resources and data to achieve excellent analysis.
  • High level of attention to detail, including the ability to maintain meticulous records of projects and programs financials, issues, risks, decisions, schedules.
