As a leader on the team, you will be expected to operate at all levels, diving deep into the details while providing strategic inputs for the product. You will be a key player in driving strategic planning, project execution, development of engineering talent, and the ongoing operation and improvement of the product.You will establish and execute the long-term architectural road-map and drive continual improvements to the efficiency and flexibility of our product. You will hold the team to an extremely high bar for site performance, scalability and availability.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of engineering team management experience
- 7+ years of engineering experience
- 8+ years of leading the definition and development of multi tier web services experience
- Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior leadership to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy
Key job responsibilities
- Develop projects through the entire software life cycle, from requirement assessment and service design to interface creation, code development, rigorous testing, and final deployment for our tax customers.- Evaluate, recommend, and leverage a diverse array of AWS technologies, including Lambda, Fargate, EMR, SNS/SQS, API Gateway, DynamoDB, RedShift, S3, and other cutting-edge tools to architect and construct highly scalable technical solutions that drive innovation and efficiency within our projects.- Design and code technical solutions using Java, Spark, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, and various other programming languages to deliver substantial value to our clientes.
