Responsibilities:

• Prepare where required: Test Cases, Test Scripts, Test Data, Test Coverage analysis for a given testing assignment.
• Execute test cases and log defects.
• Support the Test Manager(s) / Project Manager(s) by contributing to the Test Plan(s) for the relevant test phases, the Test Readiness Reviews, test progress reporting, the Test Completion/Summary Reports and Test Defect Reports
• Estimation & Milestone planning for the project and provide testing estimates
• Highlight risk and issues to senior management
• Work closely with the stakeholders or other groups in preparation and execution of the planned functional testing
• Assist in the reception and quality assurance of the business requirements, solution design and business process documents individual projects
• Conduct Defect and Client calls with quick responsiveness on high priority action items
• Understand the scope of testing and review of Requirements document and prepare the test plan based on realistic targets
• As a member of the Test Work stream, participate in peer reviews of Test Approaches, Test Plans, Test Conditions and Test Scripts as well as contributing to the on-going development of test strategy and policy within the Testing Programme.

Qualification and Experience :

• Degree in Computer Science or Engineering or Commerce
• 6-9 years of experience in testing lifecycle in Investment Banking domain
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Securities and Fund Services domain
• Adaptability to any test methodologies like Agile, Waterfall, Iterative etc. as required
• Experience in different types of testing like functional, regression, black box testing, SIT, UAT etc.

• Profound understanding of testing lifecycle
• Extensive knowledge on Middle Office /Fund Accounting functions
• Experience in application like Multifonds will be added advantage ,
• Experience in Test management tools – JIRA, ALM
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (e.g., PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook)

• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to liaise with cross functional teams
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, analytical & problem-solving skills
• Effective time management skills and ability to adhere to deadlines
• ISTQB or equivalent testing certifications
