Mechanical Designer

Design, develop and maintain Intravascular Ultrasound Consoles and Patient Interface modules.You are responsible for planning and tracking Mechanical design, ensures risks are mitigated, and communicated to stakeholders. You will ensure that your design is consistent with the higher-level architecture and requirements.Major parts are plastic molding parts, sheet metal parts, and electromechanical assemblies

1. Experience:In-depth knowledge and 8+ years of experience in the development of mechanical design
2. Skills:

• Experience in creating design concepts and mechanical designs of complex parts or assemblies.

• Strong knowledge and experience in CAD/CAE.such as SolidWorks

• Experience in Windchill processes

• Experience in metal or plastic crafts (drilling, milling, etc.) would be appreciated

3. Education:Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering, or equivalent.
4. Anything else:

• Good basics in physics

• Good knowledge and experience with gate staged development governance, ideally familiar with
  IEC60601 ,ISO 13485 or FDA-regulated development processes.

• knowledge of medical requirements and regulatory standards is beneficial (such as IEC 60601-1)

• Capability to interact in cross-functional teams

• Outstanding commitment, being innovative and adaptive
