In joining Jacobs you will:
• Perform inspection activities for mechanical and public health works during construction, pre-commissioning, and commissioning stages.
• Assist the Resident Engineer in the review of contractor's shop drawings and reports.
• Attend technical and progress meetings, monitor contractor's resource levels, monitor contractor's compliance to design intent and method statements, HSE, Quality, etc.
• Participate in witness testing for mechanical works.
• Inspect contractor’s work for required quality, schedule, budget and adherence to project drawings, specifications, international/local standards, and safety regulations.
• Review contractor’s method statements, procedures, material approval requests, construction drawings and documents.
• B.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university.
• Relevant professional qualification.
• Minimum 2 years relevant experience in infrastructure construction.
• Knowledge of relevant local and International codes and standards
