Your role will be a Technology Architect, or Mainframe Manager in the Cloud Engineering team. You will be responsible to be a part of the delivery of IT projects for our customers across the globe.

Your key responsibilities

• Understanding client requirements and designing suitable solutions
• Providing migration strategies across the 6R – Retain, Retire, Rehost, Rewrite , Replatform
• Participate in RFP /RFI. pre-sales activities
• Provide sessions on mainframe modernization tooling and strategies.
• Mentor junior resources and provide guidance on Architecture, performance tuning.
• Perform discovery & assessment and 6R based Application rationalization for legacy applications.
• Lead building of accelerators

• Ability to communicate with customers, Good analytical skills, flexibility, ability to lead/help the team in day-to-day tasks.
• Strong understanding in agile methodologies
• Capability to assist the team in debugging & troubleshooting.
• Capability to design and developed GenAI infused DevOps framework.

To qualify for the role, you must have.

• BE/B.Tech/MCA with a sound industry experience of 10 to 14 years
• Hands on knowledge on mainframe modernization tooling and strategies
• Should have performed Discovery and assessment of mainframes, preferably using tools – IBM ADDI, MF Enterprise Analyser , Cast.
• Must have experience in Zos Connect, Rehosting software such as Microfocus , Raincode, etc.
• Should have good knowledge on Data migration and co-existence for migrated data.
• Experience with CDC, ETL looks is desirable
• Experience in ZD&T , Urban code Deploy, API Connect is an advantage
• Development and Analysis of code in – Cobol, DB2 , CICS,JCL
• Extensive experience in VSAM and other File systems
• Experience using Modern IDE – IDZ /Topaz /VsCode for development, debugging and change management
• Experience in using schedulers – CA7, OPC -TWS,
• Hands on experience on Endevor, Librarian , Changeman
• Good to have – Experience in tools such as Heirloom, mLogica, etc
• Knowledge on Stored procedures, SQL tuning, Reporting, FTP ,Emailing services, Data warehousing delivery will be an advantage.
• Development experience in Java, .net, python will be an advantage
• Cloud certifications and hands on experience will be an advantage.
• Experience in working on Broadcom (CA) technologies such as CA GEN, CA IDEAL , CA Datacom will be an advantage
