What you’ll do

• Manage the commodity, interest rate and FX risk arising from the EMA desk’s activities to help deliver budgeted revenues.

• Provide pricing for client trading activity and assist with client enquiries.

• Proactively monitor credit line utilisation, engaging with brokers/third-party service providers on credit sleeving opportunities and risk compression.

• Reconcile the EMA desk’s P&L attribution and ensure correct reflection in downstream systems.

• Identify potential infrastructure improvements on the desk and liaise with relevant business partners (Technology, Product Control, Risk and Business Management) to drive change.

What we’ll need from you

• Experience of, or demonstrable interest in, energy markets.

• Advanced analytical and numerical competency.

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to develop and maintain robust processes.

• Excel/VBA. Python knowledge (or transferable knowledge of similar language) desirable.

• Bachelor’s degree (STEM/Economics), professional qualifications or equivalent experience.
