You will responsible for developing services using Kubernetes to host Akamai big data warehouse. You'll use modern SDLC methodologies and tools, such is: Docker,Git, Jenkins, Jira, Python and CI/CD pipelines.

As a Software Engineer II, you will be responsible for:

• Implementing secure Kubernetes services on multi cloud vendors. Services include monitoring and logging
• Developing highly available services with disaster recovery architecture
• Applying GitOps tools and methodology for deploying products on multiple Kubernetes environments
• Cooperating with our 3rd level engineering support to troubleshoot complex technical challenges that cross team's specialization
• Supporting all stages of software release process from development to production environments

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Be proficient working in Linux/Unix environments, demonstrate solid coding experience in Python and shell scripting
• Have proven experience in design and implementation of large-scale CD solutions
• Possess solid experience in setting up container technology (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
• Be responsible, self-motivated, proactive and able to work with little or no supervision
• Have attention to detail and excellent problem solving/troubleshooting skill
• Have experience in large enterprise company
