Job Description:
As an Onboarding and Contracting Specialist, you will join the Client Relationship Associate Team. You will work closely with the Relationship Managers, Legal, Risk and Compliance and other key internal stakeholders to own and manage the onboarding and contracting of new business relationships. Your success will be measured by your contribution in streamlining the onboarding process and contributing positively to the overall client experience.
Key responsibilities include the following:
- Act as a Project Manager managing business to business contracting in the Institutional space between Legal, Relationship Management, Compliance/Risk and the Client
- Partner with the Client Relationship Associate to prepare onboarding documentation, including drafting the appropriate contract
- Manage end to end client contract negotiation process
- Centralize and maintain non-standard contract clauses database
- Share key client and legal findings on a regular cadence with the Relationship Management team
- Assist in defining our evolving interaction model globally
- Ensure a strong and consistent client experience throughout the onboarding and contracting journeys
- Project manage special projects as they pertain to the client onboarding journey and experience
Job Requirements:
- Have at least three years' experience in a client service role, with expanding complexity
- Strong Project Management experience
- Possess excellent communications skills, both written and oral in French and English is an asset
- Paralegal experience is an asset
- Canadian or global Institutional investment management experience is an asset
- Exhibit particularly strong attention to detail along with exceptional time management and organizational skills
- Be a high energy, results oriented individual with a commitment to providing an exceptional level of service and a reputation for “getting things done”
- Exhibit ability to work independently and in a team environment, on multiple tasks, providing assistance to sales professionals and guidance and direction to sales support staff
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet multiple deadlines and prioritize activities
- Exhibit a keen interest in and knowledge of the Canadian and Global investment management industry
- Advanced user in MS Powerpoint, Word, Excel and OneNote
