What You’ll Be Doing:
- Preparing, coordinating, and managing project timelines, open issue lists, and resource needs and allocation.
- Acting as the main contact for communications with customers, suppliers, GAA team members, and management.
- Using MS Project and other tools to create specific project tasks, establish milestones, and make adjustments as needed.
- Ensuring project targets are met (Quality, Delivery Timing, Budget, etc.).
- Supporting the multi-disciplinary approach to equipment design and development.
- Working as a team member to complete the implementation of new or modified production machines in conjunction with new manufacturing projects.
- Managing project-related open issue lists.
- Ensuring adherence to ISO 45001, ISO 14001, IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and all Stackpole International policies and industry standards.
- Creating and managing Project Statements of Requirements (SOR) for internal use that align with customer and quality expectations.
- Creating and managing quality checklists to ensure equipment is fully tested prior to shipment.
- Debriefing management on current progress versus budget and timeline.
- Developing continuous improvement (CI) ideas to improve departmental systems.
- Coordinating CI initiatives.
- Developing and maintaining project templates to standardize project management practices across the organization.
- Performing other related duties as required.
What We’re Looking For:
- An undergraduate degree in Engineering and relevant experience.
- Good understanding of industrial automated solutions and assembly processes.
- Good technical understanding of multi-disciplinary engineering research initiatives.
- Ability to synthesize and communicate concept and design solutions to a broad audience.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Demonstrated project management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiating, conflict management, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in FMEA.
- Understanding of automotive systems and quality requirements based on IATF 16949/ISO9001 operating systems.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally, at all levels of the organization.
- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation.
