Responsibilities
• Perform a variety of duties including drafting, preparation of engineering drawings, calculations, structural modelling, and other tasks such as organizing reports and packaging submissions
• In pursuit of a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited program
• Demonstrated interest in civil transportation projects or structures. Preferably bridge design.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must work in a group or team atmosphere.
• Excellent organization and critical thinking, problem solving skills. Must be willing to ask questions and organize thoughts or solutions during tasks.
• Strong time management and attention to detail.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
Ideally, you’ll also have:
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, MicroStation, Bluebeam Revu, and Revit.
• A previous internship related to bridge design
• Self-driven time management and organizational skills
