Purpose of the role:
As an IT Infrastructure Technical Lead, you will have a unique opportunity to leverage your technical expertise in a role centred on the planning, execution, and oversight of IT infrastructure scope on large capital projects. Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with team members to design and implement IT infrastructure solutions that align with project schedules and budget constraints.
- Ensure compliance of digital systems with company policies, standards, and best practices while advocating for a digital enabling IT infrastructure.
- Participate in the development of project cost estimates, schedules, and documentation deliverables, including the Basis of Design and systems life cycle documentation.
- Oversee construction activities related to IT infrastructure, ensuring compliance with installation standards during the physical implementation of network and server hardware.
- Manage hardware inventory and support the identification, configuration, and installation of shop floor hardware solutions.
- Collaborate with partners on audio-visual and security scope of the projects.
Your profile:
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
- Extensive experience in teamwork and physical implementation of IT infrastructure components (network and server hardware, computer and telecom rooms, network cabling, etc.)
- Familiarity with logical networking, virtualized computing infrastructure, and manufacturing environments, with knowledge in project management and GxP environments as an asset.
- Strong planning, organization, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and manage stakeholders.
- Proficient in technical writing, fluent in verbal and written English, and capable of building rapport with a diverse global workforce
- Availability to travel up to 25% of the time.
