Key job responsibilities
* As a key member of the business development and account management teams, ensure success in building and migrating applications, software and services onto the AWS platform
* In partnership with the account management team, formulate and execute a customer-focused strategy to drive adoption of AWS
* Hire, on-board, train, and develop new Solutions Architects
* Coach Solutions Architects in the skills needed to conduct one-to-few and one-to-many technical sessions so they can transfer deep technical skills to customers who are considering or using AWS
* Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the AWS solutions architect community
* Guide and motivate the development of white papers, data sheets, and other high-value customer facing guidance and best practices
* Act as a conduit and liaison between customers, service engineering teams and support

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of technology solutions development and evangelizing end-to-end technology roadmaps that guide IT transformations toward cloud computing experience
- Ability to conduct analysis of complex data and strong business-process design experience
- Handles multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Experience leading and growing teams of technology professionals, ideally in customer facing roles
- Fluent or above in spoken/listening/written/reading Japanese
- Experience architecting/operating solutions built on any cloud service provider like Azure, AWS, GCP, OCI, etc.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of experience in working as Solutions Architect or a similar customer facing role
- Experience in team leadership positions in a result oriented environment
- Track record in effectively collaborating with and influencing senior stakeholders
- A strong understanding of AWS and/or technology as a service (Iaas, SaaS, PaaS)
- Communication skills in spoken/listening/written/reading English
